Missy Elliot - Sock It 2 Me
A risograph poster based on the 1997 music video "Sock it 2 me". I've been a long-time fan of Missy Elliot and wanted to create a poster of one of her songs. I wanted the poster to have minimal color, texture, and have a comic book feel to it.

Layout sketches
I did two quick layout sketches. I went with the second version because it had more action and room to add other characters in the poster.
Figure drawing outline
The face I drew started to look like Cardi B. Missy Elliot has amazing hair in all her music videos so I removed the helmet.
