After finishing my freelance work, I like to take some time in the evening and draw for my enjoyment. I have a Trello board of ideas for comics and illustrations. I was chipping away at it with the speed of a sloth until I bought my first iPad in 2019. Working on an iPad was a game-changer. I've been able to work faster, more efficiently, and experiment with different illustration styles. I love halftones, primary colors, b-list horror movies, and Sunday morning comics. Some of the illustrations I created started to emulate those elements. I'm still hacking away at my to-draw list and finding my unique illustration style late into the night.
